Spring has sprung...
...and yes, the 'cheese factor' of that title is intended. It's been so long since I felt the warm sun on my scalp/back, I'd forgotten what that was. So when we heard, on Saturday morning, that it was going to be a 25 degree day, Stuart and I headed out to coffee at a new cafe near my house and then to the beach. The cafe in question? Voyage. They use premium coffee, milk, ingredients....hence the rave write-ups in local papers and the fab coffee. Yum.
Seeing as they're set-up pretty much on the beach (all you have to do is cross West Coast Highway and you're there), we headed over afterwards. There's nothing quite like the feel of the sun on a black tee. Or sand between your toes. Ahhh, heaven. Bring on summer.

.The.White.Tee.
The sheer white pocket tee. An elusive dream for me. Until now. I saw the Sass and Bide Vie ones recently but was still left a little underwhelmed by the sheerness. Until Supre mass-produced its version of the Kain/Express tees (too expensive/not available to ship to Australia respectively). This sheer oversize pocket tee is genius. And a sheer (har-har :) $22 AUD. Perfection. I bought two, and think I should have got a few more.
Worn this weekend with the tee as a constant.
Can I say it?
(sorrrry :P)

Life is so much better with a drizzle of sequins...
Or so that famous saying goes. A collection of random outfit shots from the weekend. Worn, in order, to watch Bertie Blackman in concert (bloody fantastic voice), to coffee with Stuart (time to break out the vintage pink cardi of course) and to a leaving dinner for a good friend of ours.
One of our more rambunctious weekends. Ever feel like you need to recover from the weekend? I'm with you. Bring on the quieter week :)

LickIt.
Mad props to Katherine (best friend) for the link love to my favourite denim brand's newest product. Hellooooo, Lee Licks. Heard about these but hadn't seen them for sale. Seriously kickarse skinny jeans that feel like leggings, only with a zip and a fly. If you're into skinny sleek 'sexpants', you'll be wanting these.
I''ll take a size 6 in Blue Acid Frost or Ripped (above), thanks muchly.
Check out their site for more.
post edit: I contacted lee jeans about where to purchase the licks online or in Western Australia. They don't sell online (as they are a wholesaler) but in WA, the best places to try are Live, Surf Sports, Brownies and Murray Smith Surf Centre.
