Ooooh just added to my jewellery collection, in the form of funky chunky gold bangles with 'peace' carved out in both. Sportsgirl, yep. It's okay, I accept my addiction and will deal with the punishment :)

Additionally, I have been looking for a gorgeous cropped blazer and finally found one. It was on sale from Temt and is wool and sooo comfy. I adore it!

I'm very much looking forward to my next DIY project (which was inspired by Shini from Park and Cube). What is it, you ask. Ahhh, thought you'd never.

I bought the last bits and pieces I need and will be tackling it as soon as I get home from work tomorrow. Yeah, I'm uber cool like that ;)

Here are some random pics from our trampolining expedition. Nothing says adult like us 20 pluses trampolining next to all these 5-12 years olds :D.

(We then ventured down to the local beach to chill out and listen to 50's swing, check out the hot rods and generally soak up the ambience at the retro beach party)

I am officially jealous of you Americans.

Payless in the States is a whole lot cooler than our Aussie Payless.....I wait for the day that we have the same/similar designer collaborations that are easier on the pocket, and that give us a small taste of a designer's aesthetic.

I have to admit that I wasn't too taken with the last collection for Payless but these strappy boots are incredible.

Christian Siriano for Payless; another pair that I covet...spikes, studs, chains....ooh baby!

Loving the coloured soles, but not too sure about the gaps at the sides of the chains....you'd probably need to try these on in store prior to committing to them...still, love.

Absolutely loving the colour, the dangling studs, the cut of the shoe....

Ugly/Beautiful

That's these shoes I picked up in my fave op-shop to a T. They have a ridiculously exaggerated 70's vibe, almost goth-like. Oh so ugly. But I saw something in them at the op-shop and picked them up. Oh, I do love them.

Ahem. Even though I may look like a 70's hey-day reject ;)

New patent purchases

I debated whether or not to get these shoes for quite a while (for me anyway) because they cost $180 and, as I've mentioned previously, I own wayy too many pairs of shoes. But I kept coming back to them because ever since the Burberry studded sandals came out I've wanted a pair. A cheap one at that. Or even a knock-off version. But in Australia? Nadas!

Until now. Yes, a couple of seasons late but I'm not fussed. Summer is approaching and these shoes will be perfect! I also have to ensure I wear the hell out of them so that I've not just spent $180 on wear once-in-a-blue moon shoes. Ooooh, side note, they even have the funky structural-cone heel and back zipper. Excellent :)

The second pair was not planned at all, but for less than $20 how can one say no? They're quite 'me' in the sense that they are slightly out of the ordinary. Me likey. I normally don't like t-bar heels, but these ones are soo shiny. And black AND white. And pretty. And platforms too! And they actually don't make my legs look funny. So yep, I bought them.

Socks'r'us

I only recently purchased a pair of thigh-high socks from Sportsgirl (yes, I know, verrry late trend adoption), but have come to love them. They work so well as opaque tights under dresses or over black opaque tights and short, short skirts! Shame winter is nearly over.

This was taken on one of a vast number of coffee dates with the boy at our favourite beachside coffee haunt (one word: banana bread. Mmmmm, okay it's two but whatever :). Lucky for me he's willing to take all these outfit shots. I can just imagine what he's thinking, though. Heh.
