The weekend (now with extra pictures!!!)

As mentioned in the last post, this past weekend was comprised of a music festival all of Saturday, and an internet date with the lovely Stompface on Sunday.
Who played? John Butler Trio, Whitley, Jason Mraz, Mister and Sunbird, Ben Kweller, Whitley, Sea Sick Steve, Blue King Brown, Bob Evans, and many more
Personal picks? John Butler Trio, Sea Sick Steve, Bob Evans and Jason Mraz

Great event to be at as John Butler were performing for the last time as a band (they're concentrating on solo careers), Bob Evans is bloody effin brilliant, Jason Mraz was an unexpected delight (seriously expected much less) and Sea Sick Steve rocks. Mister and Sunbird were fabulous (do you expect less from a band with two sets of drums and violins, guitars, flutes, vocalists, etc) and Dave (lead singer no.1) was a delight to speak to....

Whilst listening to Whitley, we discovered these amazing DCPs (discard the shoes please)

Blue King Brown; goddamit, I want to wear turquoise facepaint and feather earrings...

Bob Evans (alter ego of Kevin Mitchell from awesome Perth indie band Jebediah) the great!

We hit 7pm; looking worse for wear...

I perched myself on Stu's shoulders for a fab 6th row face to face view

Oh to play the double bass and drums like the John Butler Trio!

As mentioned by Stompface in her "internet dating...." post, she took photos of me and vice versa while we had a snack whilst thrifting. She is one gorgeous chicka:

in Guildford town, where she got asked for money (we think...) and I knocked people over with the hanging chair I'd just bought

I didn't think to take a photo of myself at the time but it wasn't anything too spesh, so Stuart took a photo of me afterwards, at coffee, when I swopped my plimsolls for boots:

I spent this morning driving up to Northam for the hot air ballooning I had booked for Stuart's birthday (happy birthday, my gorgeous better half!). It was beyond amazing....pics to come! We then hit our local shopping centre where I committed to a laptop at JB Hi-FI (a Spanish friend of mine accidentally dropped water on mine and fried the keyboard portion :/) and found me some white tights (finally!)

festival: tee, ebay. shorts, diy levis. leather cuff, goth shop. chain, diva. sunnies, random cheap store. ring, sportsgirl. bag, vintage.
internet date: tee, supre. tube top as skirt, myer. chains, live and diva. boots, asos. bag, vintage. gloves, diy.
