She played it so sweet it was a sin

Thought I'd share the individual pictures of my sister, Stuart and myself the night of our friend's 80s birthday party. I'm very attracted to Stuart in that getup. Is that wierd of me? Probably. Oh well.

Stuart and I have been invited to yet another dress-up party, for which the theme is "Monty Python". Mwah hah hah....should I go as the dead parrot?
I should, shouldn't I....

post edit: I realised, reading my last post, that it may have come across as one of those "women who compete for the biggest diamond ring" sagas. Not the case, I assure you. I think it's important to like the ring you'll wear for the rest of your life, and Abazias have a gorgeous selection.....the most important thing is the symbolism of the ring, not the size of it! xxx Anika

dig it! i haven't been to a theme party in so long... when i was a freshman in college i went to so many of them! there was even one super crazy one called no clothes party, where you had to wear things other than clothes. i wore a sunflower over each boob and then a garland of them around my waist. it was so fun seeing everyone's outfit. my friend hot glued cards into a fan and wore it on each boob. so awesome! now, i'm just a grandma, haha!

Haha, your BF looks straight-up authentic. You might be a little weird for loving that look, but I won't tell anyone. Funny how I'm 100% accepting of 80's fashion on women but not on men!

You look so rad... is that an 80's enough word? LOL at the Monty Python idea - what about coming as one of the inquisitors, barge in and go "No one ever expected the Spanish Inquisition!"

Vis a vis your last post, you did NOT come across as anything more than sweet and honest. Anyone who thought otherwise should check themselves first.

Update: a few hours later - we rented Gran Torino - it was so funny then the subtle changes, the beautiful end credits music is playing now. I am wrecked. What special art!

Katlin, the 'no clothes' theme is ingenious....creatively speaking....realistically speaking, I'm not too sure :)

I absolutely love this! The leopard jacket/coat reminds me of one from the D&G Fall 2009 collection. Stuart's look is also really great too. The shirt is so similar to one from the Louis Vuitton Stephen Sprouse collection. I know it's slightly a costume, but I would seriously wear these looks.
